Isaiah 45:6
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Mei's Baptism!
So this week was pretty good, and bad. We got transfer calls this week and turns out I'm going to the Honbu again! I'm not going to be Page choro's companion, and I'm not going to be in the blessed Kamisugi ward anymore! Aghhh! But I guess I'll have to get over it. I'm going to be in Nagamachi again. So it's a reunion from a year ago! Pretty sweet if you ask me. Yeah, I'm one of the assistants to the President, and my new companion is Narita choro. The second Japanese companion I've had, ever! Pretty sweet, but I'm still sad that I have to leave Kamisugi, and Page choro. Page choro is actually staying here and a missionary named Watanabe choro is going to come be the Zone Leader here. But I hear that my job is going to be way hard. Narita choro and I pretty much have to do all the office work and stuff, so it'll be a little overwhelming and what not, but I think it will still be fun. So I leave tonight, with the other 2 AP's, so that we can get ready to welcome the new missionaries coming in. Anyways, we had another Baptism this week! Yay, her name is Mei! Page choro and I found her maybe a month ago, and she got baptized this week! Awesome! I'll have to send a picture soon, but that was a way good experience. Page choro and I taught her, maybe about 3 times and then we decided that it probably was a good idea to pass her to the Sisters in the area, so we did that. A guy named Brother Ryoma baptized her and Sister Onda (one of the missionaries) is crazy good at everthing, so she put together the program and preparation and everything for the baptism and it was one of the best baptisms that I've ever been to! Way cool experience, but yeah, there is an investigator named Naoto-san that we have been working a lot with and hopefully he will get baptized next month. He showed up to Mei's baptism and after the meeting he was going around telling everyone that he is going to get baptized, so hopefully that means that his hope for getting baptized is way high! Anyways, there is him, and then tonight we are going to go to the Sugawara couples house. They are investigators that Page choro and I found about a month ago, and they are way cool. Pretty old, but they have a nice house, and they are feeding us tonight. It's going to be a great meeting. Last time we gave them an introduction DVD about the church so we are going to follow-up with them to see if they saw it and tell us if it was any good. But as for this week, that's pretty much it. I'm sorry it's always short, but that's pretty much it. Hope everything is going good down there! Love you all!

Split week
Ok, so for this week, I was not in my area for most of the week. Page choro was in Kamisugi the whole week, and I went on spilts a ton of times. So on Wednesday I went up to Nagamachi to go on splits with the Assistants, and Page choro stayed in Kamisugi. Then I was there half of Thursday and then I went to Izumi on Thursday and then stayed over until Friday afternoon, then on Friday night we had a way good activity. Then on Sunday we had church, so essentially I only had Saturday to work here. So Tuesday we went finding and we found this one girl and invited her to come to the activity we had on Friday. She and her little sister came. It was a Tie-dye party, and they seemed to have way fun! Anyways...so then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I was in different areas, and it was pretty fun. It's way cool to be able to teach people how to dendo, and give people your experiences and tell them the ways you overcame different obsticals. It's pretty fun to see people improve and to grow. So that is essentially what I did for the 3 days during the week. But then on Sunday we had 209 people come to church and it was pretty crazy. It seems like everyone that comes to Sendai to volunteer with Helping Hands, always ends up coming to church here in Kamisugi. So we had 100 volunteers here in Kamisugi, and it made church crazy huge! It was also Ward Conference, so it made it way big! But there was this guy from California that was there that we translated for, and we gave him a book of mormon and he has passed by the san diego temple all the time. Then on Monday...yesterday we did a Super Dendo day, and we dendo'd with a bunch of the youth and it was way good. We set a Baptism Date and got 2 investigators that day, so yeah, it was a great day yesterday. But I haven't really dendo'd with Page choro in a few days...kinda sad, but next week we will be able to. That's about all for this week. Love you all!

Short week...Ujie-san
Well this week was pretty good. We had one major thing happen, and that was the Zone Taikai. Aoyagi choro came over and talked to us about a ton of stuff. The main thing that I got out of the whole thing, was about when we are teaching younger people. Aoyagi choro was a convert when he was little and the one thing he needed was his parents permission and so we talked about how to explain to parents about this church and what things parents find frightening about religion and such. It was pretty inspiring, at least to me. We also practiced smiling and complementing people...it was pretty awesome. It was a pretty good conference. This week we met this guy named Ujie-san. He is probably the most humble person that I've ever met in my life. We met him right outside of the church and he told us that the missionaries have tried to stop him tons of times before and he has always rejected them, but this time he decided to listen to the message because he didn't even know how he was going to live the next day. So yeah, he decided to listen to the message, and at first he had only a little tiny bit of faith, but we met him again today and he has opened up so much! I've decided that in order to get baptized, first you have to be humble, and the second thing is that you have to have the energy to do the commitments, and if you do the commitments and you are humble, then you can pretty much be baptized. So the reason I'm stoked for Ujie-san, is because he is humble...WAY humble....the very first things he said to us was that "I don't think God is watching over us, and I don't thing God knows the thoughts and intents of our mind..." Just like he knew exactly what to say, except for opposite. But he finally broke down and decided to meet with us to hear what we have to say, and he is going up so far. It's way exciting to see people like him. Anyways, Yeah that's pretty much been my week so far. We have just been trying to find people, and we had the Zone Conference. Also Tagajo...the neighboring area opened for Dendo! So we sent the Sisters over there. Hopefully they do good! Yeah! Other than that, we just keep truckin' down here in Sendai. Having the time of our lives! Dendo is awesome!

Only 2 days to dendo...
Hey so this week, I don't have my planner so I don't really remember what happened, but I'll give it my best. So this week, we had a P-day on Monday, and we pretty much just kicked it, like we usually do. But then on Tuesday we had our service and we went to cut strawberry bushes. It was pretty fun. There was an investigator there that did homestay in Utah and she hasn't been baptized yet, but she is planning on getting baptized soon! So I talked to her for a while. She was way cool. Loved the church and is going to go on a mission and get married in the temple, and she's not even baptized yet. But yeah, so service was way good, I always love the chance to go to service and help people out, it's great! Anyways, then on Wednesday we had Zone Leader council, and spent the day figuring out what was going to happen. This mission is changing up a lot again. It's pretty crazy. Anyways...then on Thursday, we spent the day finding people, and there was this family called the Sugawara family that we had set up an appointment with earlier and we went to their house and they fed us shabushabu...its pretty much a meat and vegi steamed food. It was a way fancy dinner though. And they became new investigators so that we way good, earlier that day we had another appointment with a college kid and he became a new investigator as well. It was a well planned out week. We only had 2 days to really dendo, and we still got way good things going. On Friday and Saturday we went to Tsuruoka again, to go on splits with them over there. It was way fun, and we got a lot done. They are starting to get things going over there, so it's pretty awesome! Anyways, that pretty much summed up my week. We had a way good dendo day on Thursday and then all the other days we we're either in meetings, service, or somewhere totally different. I love dendo! Sorry this was so short, but that's pretty much it. Love ya!
