Isaiah 45:6
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

President Rasmussen, the Lord's mouthpiece!

So this week has been a pretty good week! So on Tuesday last week we had a district meeting and it was the biggest district meeting that I've been too. It was pretty fun. We talked about how we can work with the members more and stuff. Came up with some really good ideas and shared with each other about how we could go about doing more member work. One of the main differences in the Sendai and the Sapporo mission is that in Sapporo the members were always fired up, but in Sendai it was not so much...it seemed like the members in Sendai are getting tired and a little worn out, so we were thinking about how we could work with them more to gain their trust and to rejuvenate them. It was a pretty good district meeting. Then later that night we did a role-play (Mogi) with one of the members here in Kamisugi...when I was a 2nd transfer I mogied with him and he was so hard on me, but when Page choro mogied with him it was totally fine and the mogi went way good. On wednesday, we pretty much had only finding time all day, but it was really good. We talked to tons of people...I love Sendai...just walked down the street and talked to every single living thing that we saw. Then at around 5ish...President Daniels, the former Sapporo Mission President, came down to eat some dinner with us, because he was on his way to do service in Sendai, so we got to eat dinner with him one last time. Then for Eikaiwa Page choro rocked it. He did a way good job, and this is probably the first time that I've seen a good Eikaiwa session...granted, Page choro doesn't use the same book that we were told to use, but he still makes it way fun and people learn a lot!  Thursday...while we were at the church doing benkyo President Rasmussen came to the church for a tour or something, and we happened to be there and so we got to talk to him a little bit, and it was pretty good. We also found a lot of good people on the streets and a few of them might come to Eikaiwa tonight (July 6th). On friday, we did a weekly planning session and planned out how to work with the members more effectively. We also had two lessons with some people and one of them we set a baptism date with, so that was pretty awesome. He was actually an investigator before the earthquake and so we just set another one with him. One of the members jointed in with us on that lesson and Shinohara kyodai was a way good joint. We got 2 new Investigators that day. On Saturday we also got 2 more new investigators, we taught a lesson with a guy named Xhing, and we set a baptism date with him too. Then during the day there was a random guy that called the church that wanted to read the Book of Mormon in English and so we met with him and he became a new investigator. Then on Sunday another random person came to church and we taught him a lesson afterward and it turns out that he met with the missionaries a long time ago and so we taught him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we committed him to Baptism...he said yes, but we felt like we shouldn't set a date with him, so we didn't ask, but then after church we got another lesson with this guy named Al and he is Chinese too, but we taught him and his lesson was really good. We set a Baptism date with him too. He was even asking what he could do in between the time we met him and the next time we were going to meet him...way awesome! So overall this week we got 3 new Baptism dates and 6 new investigators, and most of it happened in the space of 3 days...so this week was definitely a miracle week. Then on Tuesday the next week...so yesterday...we had a Zone Conference with President Rasmussen, and it was way good! I got to conduct the meeting and Ellis choro and I did a way good training on committing boldly and promising blessings, Very uplifting and Spiritual meeting. Rasmussen kaicho is definitely called of God. He is way different from Tateoka's, but They are awesome! They are going to do so good for this mission. Later that night Page choro had a war with one of the members in a mogi. it was on the word of wisdom, but it was way good and Page choro finally won the battle! Well thats all I have for this week. it was a way good week, and as for transfers...we are getting another elder in our apartment and then me and Page choro are companions now...ellis choro and Mizuochi choro are comps now, and the Zone Leaders went down to only one. So I'm the Zone Leader of the biggest and busiest Zone in the mission...go figure...it's going to be a busy transfer. Well wish me luck! Thanks for everything!
