That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Oaks Taikai

This week as pretty good. We had some cool things happen and some regular things happen, but lately the only thing we`ve been doing in Yamagata is trying to find people and we have been teaching Sasahara Family about the gospel and thats about it. This week we went to a few members houses and did family home evening with them. We went to the Hirai Family`s for dinner and FHE. They fed us Sushi and it was way good. We ate the sushi with our hands instead of our chopsticks cause apparently thats how they rolled back in the day. Other then that we have been trying to find people like crazy. We called this one person last night that was super excited to hear from us. They had their entire family on the phone trying to talk to us cause apparently its been a long time since they have seen the missionaries and they were super excited to hear from us, so hopefully that turns into something. Today we are planning on teaching the Sasaharas about the Apostasy. We are going to show them some pictures and build a house out of blocks and wreck the blocks down and tell them that that is what happened to the church of Christ. Hopefully they understand everything, but I think it`ll be good. Other then that every week we have been teaching a few of the members out of PMG and doing PMG Lessons with them. Talking about each chapter. Last week we taught about chapter 3 and how all of the lessons are tied together. Its crazy how put together PMG is. Umm...What else...Oh my goodness I totally forgot until just right now. We had a mission conference and Elder Oaks of the 12 came and gave a talk. He is a way funny guy! Way cool. We got to take a picture with him and shake his hand I told him I was from Ogden and he gave me a sarcastic face and said "hmm...I think I might know where Ogden is" then he chuckled. Elder Oaks talked about a ton of different things. He talked about the nature of God and some things about Patriarch blessings and the Trinity and the things not counted are often more important then the things counted for, he also said that this will be a turning point for Japan. It was pretty awesome. We also had a pretty good English Conversation class. On saturday we had 2 appointments but they all spoked us, which was a bummer but other then that this week was really good. I hope everyone else has a good week. Love ya all! Bye!
