Isaiah 45:6
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Going to the promised land!

So how is everyone! Yay! I'm doing pretty good thanks! So I'm going to
give up catching up on the last 3 weeks. But as for now...I am one of
the Sendai Zone Leaders, and we've been teaching Page choro, a 2nd
transfer Elder, how to dendo in Japanese and such. So It's pretty much
like we are training him. But have still been in Tsuruoka. Which is
way awesome! Tsuruoka is so pretty in the Spring and Summer. But I
have just been here way too long and it is time to move. Me and Ellis
choro and Page choro are going right in the heart of Sendai! Yes! We
are going to transfer down to Kamisugi, Sendai, everyone is stoked!
Umm...so yeah this week not knowing that it was our last week in
Tsuruoka, we did as much as we could to make the next Elders welcome.
Ohh yeah, Ellis choro and I are also the district leaders for
Yamagata-ken, so we have been doing all of the district meetings and
teaching as many people as we possibly can this past week. We have had
tons of good stuff happen. Also last week we got to go down to a place
called Tagajo and do service again! That was way good. We fixed up a
whole entire house. Then afterwards we got to go to a place called
Ishinomaki and look at all the destruction that was there. It was
pretty crazy...There was literally nothing! Maybe if this computer
will work, I can put up some pictures, but service was awesome! Loved
it! There is also 2 members in the branch that are recent converts,
but they are both having problems keeping commandments, So we have
been teaching them a ton lately...but then on Sunday we did this
really really awesome thing with the branch. So since there is a 3some
here in Tsuruoka, we took the 2 recent converts and then one of the
other members and we did a 3 way split! So there was 6 missionaries
out at one time. It was awesome! It really helped bond the members and
the missionaries and it also strengthened the recent converts a ton.
So then Monday came along and we met with someone that I thought I
never would meet again. Sugawara-san. We taught him an amazing lesson
on the Plan of Salvation, and then he FINALLY commited to read the
Book of Mormon. It was great. On Tuesday, we went down to Yamagata and
had a district meeting. It was pretty great. Then afterwards we
dendo'd around a little bit and then we found this one kid that was
super good at the violin. He even went to Utah to play the violin, so
when we said that we were from Utah, he was stoked, and we told him
about the Salt Lake Temple and that we were missionaries teaching
people about whats in that temple and he was super stoked to hear our
message. It's crazy how small this world is. I already knew it from
before, but I could just say it over and over again. So yeah, I'm
sorry that it's not that much, but I'm getting to the point now where
I'm getting a little lazy with my journal, and I can't even remember
what happened in the last week. Obviously, everything is good.
Probably as good as it will ever get, and my companions are great! I
thought at first being in a 3some was going to be a little hard, but
not when you have Page and Ellis choro for companions. They are
awesome! And Sendai is going to be so much fun! I can't wait! Well
that's all I guess. I will try to put some pictures on here if I can.
Love ya, bye.
