Isaiah 45:6
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Welcome home! Sendai...the sweet sweet smell of Sendai!

(sigh)...Wow it's been a long time since I've emailed. We have just been so unluckily unluck as to not have a computer for a while. So since 2 weeks ago Ive again switched missions and next transfer we will have a new mission president. I am going to have to say that I have had a crazy awesome mission experience. 3 mission presidents and 2 different missions all mixed in with the worlds biggest Earthquake and a devastating Tsunami, plus a Nuclear Meltdown...I wonder what this next year will bring!
So I don't know how I'm going to fit 2 weeks in here, because I have a ton to say about it all, but last monday...on the 23rd of May, me and one of my old buddies from the MTC went and dendo'd and we found this guy that was 100% Japanese, but we pretty much contacted him in Engish and I totally thought he was the type of guy that would just put us off, but he told me at the end, that he would go to church, even though I was going to go back to Sendai. Pretty cool.
24th...So since my companion went home a little early, I got sent back to the Sapporo Honbu, and pretty much just chilled with the Assistants and the Office Workers, but we went out to lunch on this day with Daniels Kaicho, and I got to ask him what his mission theme, if he had one would be, and he told me the same thing that my Trainer told me. Love. Seems like Love is a pretty good answer. The whole world revolves around it. You can really get into a deep thinking about love. A bunch of other stuff happened too, but Sapporo was getting some new missionaries, so we got the honbu all cleaned up and stuff for them.
25th...We got transferred today...got on a 8 hour train from Sapporo to Sendai...yes we had to go underwater in order to cross islands. I pretty much talked to Ellisworth choro for the whole 8 hours about human behavior. It was crazy weird. He told me a bunch of stuff about body language and stuff...it was pretty interesting. It was way cool that he used all this stuff in his dendo. So I'm going to go back to the same area that I was at...Tsuruoka. I was kinda burned out of this place, but with different companions it might be fun. Besides, it's been 3 months, a lot can change in 3 months.
26th...We had a mission conference today and it was pretty crazy! The new area president came to talk to us...we also got to hear all about what Tateoka kaicho was doing for the 3 months we went to Hokkaido. He is a beast. Worked his tail off. We then stayed in the Izumi apartment which is kind of close to the area.
27th...we got up to go do service in Sendai. We all got our helping hands shirts and everything! It was awesome! We got to help people clean up their floorboards...there was like a foot of mud and gunk under the floor of just about everybody's houses, but the streets and stuff looked pretty cleaned up, for the most part. The other group of missionaries got to unload manure for like 5 hours...and they stank pretty bad on the bus. I got to talk to my MTC comp for the whole time on the bus, which was pretty good.
28th...Woke up and I was in Tsuruoka...we just did weekly planning and got things together. Went to a bunch of different people's houses and got back in touch.
29th...Had church and the members were all crazy excited to see us back...they gave us a huge fruit basket! Tons of food. Just tried getting in the groove.
30th...one of the old investigators mom's was in the hospital so we made her a water colour card and then we had to go back to Sendai for a Zone Leader council.
31st...did Zone Leader council and it was great. Tateoka kaichos trainings are always so spiritual and they are the best! Rode back to Tsuruoka and then did some stuff...sorry I'm running out of time....
This last week...tons of miracles...on Friday we went back to Sendai again, so we haven't really had tons of time to dendo in Tsuruoka. We've been just going crazy with dendo. We've also been teaching Page choro the ropes, and stuff. 3 people in a companionship is way different. It was way good though. Yesterday we found like 6 people that had a good amount of interest and we are probably going to follow up on them soon. We also went to Yamagata today to give the sisters there a training, and we got to dendo in Yamagata a little bit, so that was pretty fun. Yeah, Dendo is great, we haven't really had a good sit down lesson yet, because we are pretty much just trying to build our teaching pool back up. But it'll come soon. Btw...Tsuruoka is beautiful in the spring. Anyways...Hope everyone is doing great, we are just crazy busy all the time, but Good luck with stuff! Bye-bye!
ps...any letters that got sent to Sapporo were forwarded to me...Thanks Aja!
Also...Josh...that is so tight, man! Good luck in Africa! I had an investigator from Accra...I think..we also found someone the other day from Kenya...it's crazy awesome! Good luck!
