time about the Apostasy and how the church of Christ was lost from the
earth. It was a good lesson and hopefully they learned a lot. We also
went up to the Sato Family. They are a pretty cool half czech half
japanese family and we shared a message about being thankful and then
later that night we went over to the Kikuchi Family's home to see if
they would be willing to do a FHE with us. We met them probably the
first day we got to Yamagata and we have been trying to get them to do
a FHE with us, but we are slowly moving them forward and we are
probably going to be able to get one eventually. Then on Wednesday we
had Eikaiwa again and there was quite a few people there, but yeah,
there was this new guy that came to class that I talked to afterward
and we pretty much had a whole discussion on the topics of the First
Lesson and the Restoration and the scripture that we shared in the
spiritual message hit him deep, so that was the reason we started to
talk about that kind of stuff. Hopefully he comes next week, but yeah,
way cool expirience. There was also a day when we went to pick up some
Potential Investigators and we went to this one house and talked to
this girl about the Restoration for maybe 25 minutes and eventually we
had to give her a pamphlet and tell her to try to pray because I
guarentee you wont feel any bad feelings from it. The rest of the week
we had the opportunty to help one of the members move their stuff into
a moving van and then later that night we went to the bishops home to
eat dinner. It was a good time. We taught them about the Restoration
and did some magic tricks and stuff. Then on Sunday we did the Preach
My Gospel class after church and we had like 5 of the young men there
to listen to the message. We talked about the Commandments and what
blessings you can recieve from them. One of the young men here in
Yamagata just got accepted to Waseda-daigaku and he is leaving pretty
shortly, but he says he wants to go on a mission so that was good.
Well that's been my week so far hope everone else's has been good. See
ya!
